Hemp has an active compound known as cannabidiol oil, or CBD oil. It lacks the euphoric properties of tetrahydrocannabinol (THC). CBD oil is produced by diluting cannabidiol (CBD) extracted from the cannabis plant with a carrier oil such as coconut oil or hemp seed oil.
